Good nutrition will not win the fight for you, but bad nutrition can easily lose it. Here is the approach our coaches use with the fight team.

Fuel the training first

Carbohydrates around hard sessions, protein spread across four meals and plenty of vegetables. Under-fuelling during camp is the fastest way to get injured.

Cut weight slowly

Aim to be within 8–10% of your fight weight a month out, and let the final few kilos come from careful water management under supervision — never from crash dieting.

Rehydrate properly

After weigh-ins, rehydrate with fluids and electrolytes before any big meals. Our Fight Team plan includes a personalised camp nutrition plan from our coaches.
