Book a Call

A small agency, built by people from the newsroom.

Eleven people, no account-executive layer, twelve clients at a time.

(01)About the agency

A small agency that answers the phone at eleven at night.

SWP was built by people who used to sit on the newsroom side of the call. That shapes everything about how we work.

We pitch stories editors can defend in a conference meeting. We tell clients when an announcement is not news yet, even when they have already booked the photographer. And we never send a release we would have deleted ourselves.

Eleven people, no account-executive layer, no franchise partners. The person who wins your business is the person who runs it — which is also why we take twelve clients at a time and no more.

(02)How we work

Five stages. The first one is listening.

No agency should pitch a journalist in week one. Here is the sequence we run on every retainer, and roughly how long each part takes.

i

Audit and listening

We read every mention, interview your team and your three loudest customers, and map who is already writing about your category.

ii

Narrative build

One message house, one spokesperson brief, one honest list of the questions you cannot answer yet. Signed off before anything goes out.

iii

Media programme

Target list, story angles per outlet, and a rolling calendar of pitches, exclusives and reactive comment opportunities.

iv

Amplify and repurpose

Coverage becomes sales collateral, LinkedIn posts, investor updates and award entries — so one feature works six times.

v

Measure and rebuild

Share of voice, message pull-through and inbound attribution reported monthly. Every quarter we rewrite what is not working.

(03)The people on your account

The names on the pitch are the names on the call.

SWP is deliberately senior-heavy. There is no handover to a team you have not met.

(04)What clients say
They told us our funding round was not a story yet — then spent six weeks finding the one that was.
Iris KovačCEO, Northwind Bio — client since 2023
Camille picked up at 11pm on a Sunday. By Monday morning we had a statement, a Q&A and a plan. That is the whole review.
Owen BlackwoodGeneral Counsel, Maru Financial
I had turned down every interview for two years because I was terrified of them. After SWP's training I did nine in a quarter, and enjoyed most of them.
Renata HaldenFounder, Halden Studio
Every other agency sent us a coverage forecast. SWP sent a list of questions we could not answer — and that list changed the launch.
