About Us
A family martial arts academy built on respect, grit and good coaching.
A Dojo Built on Respect, Grit and Good Coaching
SWP Martial Arts opened its doors in Springfield with one mat and a simple idea: anyone can learn to defend themselves and grow stronger when the teaching is patient and the standards stay high. Today we coach hundreds of students every week, from five-year-olds tying their first white belt to competitors chasing regional titles.
Certified Black Belts
Every class is led by a ranked, first-aid trained instructor.
Small Class Sizes
Fewer students per coach means more hands-on corrections.
Safe, Padded Floor
Competition-grade mats and clean gear in every session.
Flexible Schedule
Morning, evening and weekend classes six days a week.

What Our Members Say
My son was shy and struggled to focus at school. After six months of kids karate he stands taller, listens better and can't wait for every class.
I walked in at 42 having never thrown a punch. The coaches were patient, the members were welcoming and I've lost 30 pounds doing Muay Thai.
The women's self-defense course gave me real skills and real confidence. I now train jiu-jitsu three times a week and love it.
I competed in my first MMA amateur bout this spring. Marcus had me ready for every round, and the whole fight team showed up to cheer.
Both of our daughters train here. The instructors know every child by name and the belt testing days feel like a family celebration.
Clean mats, friendly people and a timetable that fits around my shifts. Two years in and I just earned my brown belt.
