An all-white reception is stunning in daylight and surprisingly difficult after sunset. White reflects every colour of light around it, including the wrong ones.
Warm, low and layered
We swapped the ballroom chandeliers for warm uplighting on the walls, then layered candles at three heights on every table.
Texture over colour
With no colour to work with, texture does the work: velvet runners, textured glassware and florals with plenty of green.
