We've Got Answers

Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. In most states you can book directly with a licensed physiotherapist. Some insurance plans ask for a referral before they'll cover treatment, so check your policy or ask our front desk to check for you.

What should I wear to my first appointment?

Wear comfortable, loose clothing that lets us see and move the area being treated, such as shorts for knee or hip problems and a tank top for shoulder issues.

How long does a session last?

Your first assessment takes about 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions usually run 30 to 45 minutes depending on your treatment plan.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your condition and goals. Many patients notice improvement within 3 to 6 visits. We'll give you an estimated timeline after your first assessment.

Is physiotherapy covered by insurance?

Most major insurance plans cover physiotherapy. We verify your benefits before your first visit and offer clear self-pay rates if you're uninsured.

Will the treatment be painful?

Some techniques can feel uncomfortable, but treatment should never be severely painful. Your therapist adjusts pressure and intensity based on your feedback throughout the session.
