OEM vs Aftermarket Phone Screens: What You Are Really Paying For

Technician replacing a smartphone part

Two shops can quote very different prices for the same screen replacement. The difference is usually the part.

OEM and premium OEM-grade screens

These match the original brightness, colour accuracy, touch response and power use. They cost more but feel like the phone you bought.

Budget aftermarket screens

Cheaper LCD copies can look dim, show a blue tint, use more battery and miss touches. Some phones also show a “non-genuine part” warning.

We explain every option before we start and cover each part with our 90-day warranty. Compare prices on the pricing page and read what customers say on our reviews page.
