About us
A Family-Run Campground Built Around Slow Days Outdoors
We started with twelve tent pitches and a single fire ring. Today SWPCamping welcomes thousands of campers a year, but we still rake every site by hand, split our own firewood and know most of our regulars by name.

Questions Before You Head Out
Can't find what you're looking for? Our welcome cabin team answers calls and emails every day from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Ask a QuestionWhat are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts at 2 PM and check-out is by 11 AM. Early arrival can be arranged when the site is free, just let us know when you book.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Dogs are welcome on all tent and RV loops as long as they stay on a leash. Glamping tents allow one well-behaved dog for a small cleaning fee.
Are campfires allowed?
Fires are permitted in the steel fire rings on each site unless a county burn ban is in effect. Please buy local firewood from our store to protect the forest from pests.
Do you rent camping gear?
We rent tents, sleeping pads, camp stoves and lanterns. You can also book a pre-pitched tent so everything is ready when you arrive.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel up to 7 days before arrival for a full refund. Within 7 days, we offer a credit toward a future stay.
