Our woodland pitches sit in a quiet loop of tall pines, each one levelled, raked and screened from its neighbours by natural undergrowth. It is the classic tent-camping experience: the smell of pine needles, birdsong at dawn and a fire crackling under the stars.
The site
Every pitch has room for a family tent and a small dining shelter, with a steel fire ring and a solid picnic table. Pitches drain quickly after rain, so you won’t wake up in a puddle.
Good to know
The heated washroom block is a two-minute walk away, and the lake trail starts at the end of the loop. Cars park on a hard-standing bay beside each pitch.
