Domestic wall splits, shop ceiling cassettes, multi-head systems and the older window and sleeve units all get the same treatment here, regardless of who installed them.
The one exception is equipment still inside a manufacturer warranty that names an approved installer. In that situation we say so openly and send you back to them rather than risk voiding your cover.
Multi-head systems get each indoor unit measured separately, because a single weak head is easy to miss when the outdoor unit looks perfectly healthy.
