Full Wedding Planning
Budget, vendors, meetings, design and timeline, managed from engagement to send-off.
Learn more Full Wedding PlanningWe plan, design and run weddings for couples who want a beautiful day without the stress of managing it. One dedicated planner, one clear plan, and a team that shows up first and leaves last.

SWPWeddingPlanner started in 2012 with one planner, a borrowed binder and a backyard wedding in Springfield. Today we're a close team of planners, designers and coordinators, and we still cap the number of weddings we take each season so every couple gets our full attention.
We listen first. Whether you picture a candlelit ballroom, a barn under string lights or forty guests on a lakeside lawn, we shape the plan around how you want the day to feel, then keep the budget, vendors and timeline on track so you never have to chase anything.
Couples spend around 250 hours planning a wedding. We take on the research, calls and follow-ups.
We set a realistic number early, track every deposit and show you where to save without losing what matters.
We only recommend people we've watched work, and we keep every one of them on the same timeline.
Rain, a late delivery, a missing boutonniere: there's a backup ready, fixed quietly before you notice.
Every service comes with a dedicated planner, a written plan and a monthly check-in, so you always know what's done and what's next.

We've planned in historic halls, family farms, garden estates and downtown lofts across central Illinois. We know which rooms glow at sunset, which lawns need a rain plan and which kitchens can serve a plated dinner for 250.
Tell us your guest count and the feel you want. We'll send three to five options with pricing, availability and honest notes on each.
A rain forecast two days out meant moving 180 guests from the lawn to a tented terrace. We had the backup tent on hold since month three, so the only change guests noticed was the extra candlelight.
We saw the forecast, called Olivia, and she said “already handled.” That was the moment we stopped worrying.

For full planning, 12 to 18 months before the wedding gives you the best choice of venues and vendors. Partial planning works well from 6 to 9 months out, and day-of coordination can start as late as 8 weeks before.
Springfield and central Illinois are home, but we plan across the Midwest and travel for destination weddings. Travel costs are quoted up front with no hidden extras.
Of course. We'll add them to the plan and timeline and coordinate with them just like our own partners.
