Memory support

Dementia care built on routine and familiar cues.

Dementia care works on routine. The same face, at the same time, doing things in the same order does more than any single intervention we could offer — which is why memory support is scheduled with a fixed caregiver and fixed hours, and why we resist changing either.

Our memory-care caregivers are trained specifically for the late-afternoon and early-evening hours that families find hardest. Every household gets a home safety review covering wandering risk, stair lighting, stove isolation and bathroom grab rails before the first paid visit.

A registered nurse reviews the plan fortnightly and sits in on the ninety-day review with the family and the treating doctor.

Do we cover your parent’s street?

We only take on households our caregivers can reach reliably in bad weather. If we cannot promise to arrive on time, we say so on the first call and point you somewhere that can.
