Family FAQ
If yours is not here, ask it on the phone. Nobody is going to put you through a sales script.
Ask us directlyTwo hours, once a week. Plenty of families start there and never need more. We would rather begin small and add hours than talk anyone into a package they do not use.
You get a named team of two or three so holidays and illness do not mean a stranger at the door. You meet all of them before the first paid visit.
Often, partly. We bill long-term care insurers direct, accept the VA Aid and Attendance benefit, and work with the state Medicaid home care waiver. Our office will check your policy with you before you commit to anything.
Very common, and the reason our first visit is a conversation rather than an assessment. We often start as company for an hour and let the practical help arrive later, once trust is there.
Usually within forty-eight hours in our core area. Call the care line with the discharge date and we will tell you straight away whether we can staff it.
A week of notice for permanent changes, and no cancellation fee for a single missed visit. Circumstances change quickly at this stage of life and our terms are written to expect it.
Service area
We only take on households our caregivers can reach reliably in bad weather. If we cannot promise to arrive on time, we say so on the first call and point you somewhere that can.
Tell us what this week looked like. A care manager calls back within one business day, often the same afternoon.
We never share your details. Sending this does not commit you to anything.
No fee, no obligation
A care manager will walk the house with you, look at the stairs and the bathroom, and tell you honestly if you need less than you think. It takes about an hour and costs nothing.
