About SWP Roofing

Keeping weather out of buildings since two thousand and two.

SWP Roofing started as two people and a borrowed truck, working weekends on storm-damaged bungalows because the phone kept ringing. Two decades later we run six crews across residential and light commercial work, and the one rule we started with has not moved: nobody quotes a roof they have not walked.

Everything under one crew

The envelope of a building fails at its edges — where the roof meets the wall, where the gutter meets the fascia, where the flashing meets the chimney. That is exactly where three separate contractors start blaming each other. Shingles, standing seam, flat membrane, gutters, soffit and siding are all handled in-house here, so there is one crew on site, one schedule to track and one number to call when something needs looking at.

What you can hold us to

  • Every roof is walked and photographed before it is priced.
  • Deck rot is priced per sheet in advance, never estimated after the fact.
  • Licensed, insured and permit-ready on every job we take.
  • A rolling magnet goes over the lawn, drive and kerb at the end of every day.
  • Ten years on our workmanship, transferable once if you sell the house.

Our vision

A roof should be forgettable. We want homeowners to go a full twenty years without thinking about the thing over their heads, because nothing up there ever gave them a reason to.

Our mission

Photograph every problem before we price it, use the fastener pattern the manufacturer specifies rather than the one that is faster, and leave the property cleaner than the day we pulled in.

Why choose us

What Sets Our Roofing Crews Apart

Four things decide whether a roofing job goes well, and none of them are the brochure. They are the schedule, the price, the hands doing the work and what happens if something moves later.

We start when we said

A confirmed date, a delivery window for materials, and a call the evening before. Weather delays are told to you, not discovered by you.

One written price

Squares, underlayment, flashing and disposal all appear on the estimate. Hidden deck rot is the one variable, priced per sheet before we touch it.

Certified installers

Crews carry current manufacturer certification, which is what makes the extended material warranty valid rather than merely printed.

Ten-year workmanship cover

If our flashing detail or fastening lets water in, we come back and fix it at no cost. The warranty transfers once if you sell the house.

How the work breaks down

Inspection and photo report 95%
Installation to spec 92%
Magnet sweep and cleanup 98%

Our Numbers Say More Than Our Adjectives Do

Twenty-four seasons, six crews and a callback rate we publish rather than hide. If a detail we installed lets water through, it comes back to us, so we would rather get it right the first time.

0 +

Manufacturer certifications and local trade awards held by our installers.

0 +

How we work

Six Steps From First Ladder to Final Sweep

Nothing here is unusual. What matters is that each step happens in order, gets written down, and is finished before the next one starts.

We walk the roof where it is safe, get into the attic where we can, and send you the photographs the same day, marked up so you can see what we are talking about.

One price, itemised by square. You see the shingle, membrane or panel options side by side with what each adds to the total and how long each is expected to last.

We pull the permit, book the dumpster and time the material drop so pallets are not sitting on your drive for a week. You get the dates in writing.

Beds, shrubs and air conditioning units are covered first. The old roof comes off in sections so nothing is left open overnight, and any soft sheathing is replaced before underlayment goes down.

Underlayment, ice and water shield, starter course, field, hip and ridge, then flashing and ventilation. Fastener pattern and nail depth follow the manufacturer sheet, not habit.

Magnet sweep across the lawn and drive, a walkthrough with photographs of the finished details, and your warranty documents registered with the manufacturer before we leave.

Testimonials

What People Say After the Next Storm

The real review of a roof arrives months later, in weather. These are from customers we went back to after one.

“They found the leak two other roofers had missed, and it was not even on the roof.”
Rachel Adeyemi — Homeowner, Birch Lane

The estimate matched the invoice to the cent. Two sheets of decking were rotten and they showed me the photographs before adding the line, at the price quoted per sheet.

Marcus Whitfield Homeowner, Maplewood Rise

Hail came through in June and they had a tarp on our back slope before dark. The claim went through on the first submission because their photo report was that thorough.

Elena Cabrera Homeowner, Cedar Hollow
