Our vision
A roof should be forgettable. We want homeowners to go a full twenty years without thinking about the thing over their heads, because nothing up there ever gave them a reason to.
We climb up, photograph what is actually happening on your roof, and give you one written price with no line items added later. Licensed, insured, and finished when we said we would be.

About us
SWP Roofing began as a two-person crew working weekends on storm-damaged bungalows. Two decades later we run six crews across residential and light commercial work, and the rule has not changed: nobody quotes a roof they have not walked.
Shingles, standing seam, flat membrane, gutters, soffit and siding are all handled in-house, so there is one crew on site, one schedule to track and one number to call.
A roof should be forgettable. We want homeowners to go a full twenty years without thinking about the thing over their heads, because nothing up there ever gave them a reason to.
Photograph every problem before we price it, use the fastener pattern the manufacturer specifies rather than the one that is faster, and leave the property cleaner than the day we pulled in.
Services
The envelope of a building fails at its edges, which is why we handle the roof, the drainage and the walls together instead of leaving three contractors to blame each other. Pick a trade to see what is involved.
Complete tear-off to the deck, rotten sheathing swapped out, ice and water shield at every valley, then a new system installed to manufacturer spec. Most homes finish in one to two days.
Water rarely enters where it drips. We trace the path back to the flashing, nail pop or failed boot that started it, then repair the cause and show you the before and after photographs.
Concealed-fastener panels roll-formed to length on site, so there are no lap seams across the slope to work loose. Finishes carry a forty-year paint warranty and shed snow cleanly.
Aluminium runs formed in one continuous piece at the kerb, hung on hidden brackets every sixteen inches, with downspouts sized to the roof area actually draining into them.
Fibre cement, engineered wood or vinyl fitted with the trim and vented soffit that keep the attic breathing. Colours matched to the new roof so the whole elevation reads as one job.
Tarped the same day where we can safely get up, then a documented damage report with dated photographs and measurements that your insurer can work from without a second visit.
Why choose us
Four things decide whether a roofing job goes well, and none of them are the brochure. They are the schedule, the price, the hands doing the work and what happens if something moves later.
A confirmed date, a delivery window for materials, and a call the evening before. Weather delays are told to you, not discovered by you.
Squares, underlayment, flashing and disposal all appear on the estimate. Hidden deck rot is the one variable, priced per sheet before we touch it.
Crews carry current manufacturer certification, which is what makes the extended material warranty valid rather than merely printed.
If our flashing detail or fastening lets water in, we come back and fix it at no cost. The warranty transfers once if you sell the house.

How we work
Nothing here is unusual. What matters is that each step happens in order, gets written down, and is finished before the next one starts.
We walk the roof where it is safe, get into the attic where we can, and send you the photographs the same day, marked up so you can see what we are talking about.
One price, itemised by square. You see the shingle, membrane or panel options side by side with what each adds to the total and how long each is expected to last.
We pull the permit, book the dumpster and time the material drop so pallets are not sitting on your drive for a week. You get the dates in writing.
Beds, shrubs and air conditioning units are covered first. The old roof comes off in sections so nothing is left open overnight, and any soft sheathing is replaced before underlayment goes down.
Underlayment, ice and water shield, starter course, field, hip and ridge, then flashing and ventilation. Fastener pattern and nail depth follow the manufacturer sheet, not habit.
Magnet sweep across the lawn and drive, a walkthrough with photographs of the finished details, and your warranty documents registered with the manufacturer before we leave.
Twenty-four seasons, six crews and a callback rate we publish rather than hide. If a detail we installed lets water through, it comes back to us, so we would rather get it right the first time.
Manufacturer certifications and local trade awards held by our installers.
Squares of roofing installed across homes, storefronts and light industrial units.
Testimonials
The real review of a roof arrives months later, in weather. These are from customers we went back to after one.
“They found the leak two other roofers had missed, and it was not even on the roof.”Rachel Adeyemi — Homeowner, Birch Lane
The estimate matched the invoice to the cent. Two sheets of decking were rotten and they showed me the photographs before adding the line, at the price quoted per sheet.
Hail came through in June and they had a tarp on our back slope before dark. The claim went through on the first submission because their photo report was that thorough.
FAQ
If yours is not here, call and ask. Nobody at this number works on commission, so you will get the answer rather than a pitch.
Most single-family homes are torn off and reroofed within one to two working days. Steep pitches, multiple dormers or hidden deck damage can add a day, and we tell you before the crew arrives if that is likely.
We document the damage with dated photographs, slope measurements and a written scope your adjuster can price directly. We do not file the claim for you, but we will meet the adjuster on site.
Architectural and three-tab asphalt, standing seam and exposed-fastener metal, synthetic slate and shake, and single-ply membrane for low-slope and flat sections. We are certified installers for the systems we quote.
If the damage is localised and the field shingles still have granules and flexibility, repair is usually the better spend. Widespread granule loss, curling edges or a third leak in two years points the other way, and we will say so.
Beds, shrubs, windows and any outdoor units get covered before the first shingle moves. Debris drops into a ground tarp, and we run a rolling magnet over lawn, drive and kerb at the end of each day.
Ten years on our workmanship, transferable once, alongside the manufacturer warranty on the materials themselves. We register the material warranty on your behalf before the job closes.
Yes, and it usually costs less than booking them separately because the scaffolding, disposal and crew mobilisation are shared. It also means one warranty covering the roof-to-wall junction.
Active leaks are triaged the same day we hear about them. If conditions are unsafe for the roof, we tarp from below or from a ladder line and return for the permanent repair once the weather clears.
Book the inspection, get the photographs, then decide. There is no charge for the visit and no obligation to use us afterwards.
