Daniel Reyes has built the most aggressive pressing side in the Premier Division. Before the visit of Harbor City, he sat down with SWP TV to explain how it works — and why it only works when everybody buys in.
“The press starts with the striker”
“Marco is our first defender. If he jumps late, the whole structure breaks. People see the goals, but his best work happens when we don’t have the ball.”
On the title race
“Two points is nothing with nine games left. We don’t look at the table on a Monday. We look at the next ninety minutes and what we can control.”
We press as eleven or we don’t press at all. There is no in-between.
Reyes also confirmed that Noah Castillo has recovered from a minor knock and will be available for selection this weekend.
