Six weeks of acupuncture for desk-bound neck pain

Neck and shoulder pain from long hours at a screen is the single most common complaint we treat. Here is what a typical six-week course looks like, and what patients report along the way.

Weeks one and two

We work locally on the neck and upper back, and distally on the hands and legs. Most people notice the pain easing for a day or two after each session.

Weeks three to six

The relief lasts longer between visits, and we add cupping and simple stretches to do at your desk. By session six, most patients are coming in fortnightly or finishing the course.
