Open Water Diver is the internationally recognised certification that lets you dive with a buddy to 18 metres, anywhere in the world, for life. You learn at your own pace in groups of four, and every skill is practised until it feels natural.
What you will learn
- Dive planning, buddy checks and hand signals
- Buoyancy control, trim and efficient finning
- Mask, regulator and air-sharing skills
- Reading dive conditions and using a dive computer
How the course runs
Day one covers theory and confined-water skills. Over the next three days you complete four open-water dives and a fifth fun dive to celebrate, all at sites chosen for calm, clear water.

- All scuba equipment: BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins and tanks
- Boat dives with a trained captain and emergency oxygen
