Home Nursing Visits

Clinical care delivered in the room where the photographs are.

Home Nursing Visits

A registered nurse comes to the house on an agreed schedule and does the clinical work that would otherwise mean a car journey, a waiting room and half a day gone. Wound dressing, injections, catheter and stoma care, vitals monitoring and medication administration — all of it in the chair you already like sitting in.

What a visit covers

  • Wound assessment and dressing changes, including post-surgical sites
  • Prescribed injections and subcutaneous fluids
  • Catheter and stoma care, changes and troubleshooting
  • Blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation and blood glucose
  • Medication administration and blister-pack checks

What happens afterwards

Written notes go out the same evening to whoever in the family needs to know — observations, medication given and anything that changed. If something needs a doctor, we say so that night rather than at the next visit.
