A ceramicist needed a studio, a showroom and an office under one roof, with two kilns that run hot for twelve hours at a time. The warehouse she found had the space but not the ventilation.
The kiln room sits in its own brick enclosure with a dedicated extract. The office floats above it on a steel mezzanine, looking down over the showroom through a long internal window.

A four-bedroom house built into a sloping corner plot. Board-marked concrete carries the street edge; inside, the plan turns away from the road and opens to a walled garden.

A 1970s distribution shed turned into studio space for forty people. The existing frame stayed; we cut a stair through the middle and brought daylight down to the ground floor.
