Why SWPAcademy

Most Struggling Students Are Missing a Few Building Blocks

We started in 2011 as two teachers helping neighborhood kids with homework at a kitchen table. That idea still guides every lesson: find the gap, fill it patiently, and keep parents in the loop.

From a C to an A in algebra

My daughter used to cry over math worksheets. After one term with Laura she asks to show me how she solved problems. Her teacher noticed the change before we did.

The weekly notes are gold

I always know what my son covered and what to practice at home. It feels like we're working on his reading together with his tutor, not handing him off.

James CarterParent of a 2nd grader

My SAT score jumped 180 points

The mock exams made the real test feel familiar. Marcus showed me where I was losing time and I walked in knowing exactly how to pace each section.

Chemistry finally makes sense

Daniel explains reactions with things from our kitchen. My son went from dreading lab reports to finishing them first, and his last test came back with a B+.

Reading at grade level in one term

Priya made phonics feel like a game. Our daughter now picks up books on her own, and her teacher moved her up a reading group before the winter break.
