Math builds on itself. A shaky grasp of fractions in fifth grade becomes a struggle with algebra in eighth, so our tutors start by finding the exact step where understanding slipped.
What we cover
Number sense and times tables, fractions and decimals, ratios and percentages, pre-algebra and algebra I and II, geometry and proofs, trigonometry, pre-calculus and AP Calculus.
How a lesson works
Each session opens with a short warm-up on last week’s topic, moves to new material with worked examples, and ends with practice your child completes on their own while the tutor watches for mistakes.
What parents receive
A short note after every lesson listing what was covered and two or three problems to practise at home, plus a progress report at the end of each term.
