FAQ

Questions Parents Often Ask

Can't find your answer here? Our enrollment team is happy to help.

What happens during the free assessment?

A tutor spends 45 minutes with your child on short, friendly exercises in the subject you choose. Afterwards you receive a written summary of strengths, gaps and a suggested plan. There's no obligation to enroll.

Which grades and ages do you teach?

We work with students from age 5 through 12th grade. Early learner lessons are shorter, usually 30 to 45 minutes, to suit younger attention spans.

How do you choose a tutor for my child?

We match tutors on subject, grade level, learning style and your preferred schedule. If the fit isn't right, we'll switch tutors at no cost.

Can lessons happen online?

Yes. Online lessons run on live video with a shared digital whiteboard. Many families mix in-person and online sessions from week to week.

What if we need to cancel a lesson?

Give us 24 hours' notice and we'll reschedule within the same month at no charge.

How does the grade improvement guarantee work?

If your child attends at least 90% of scheduled lessons for 10 weeks and their school grade in that subject hasn't improved, the following month of tutoring is free.
