Ask the charter deskNot for a crewed charter. The captain handles navigation, berthing and every decision about weather. Experience only matters if you want a bareboat charter, where we will ask to see a recognised licence and a short sailing history before confirming.
The vessel, its crew and fuel for the cruising range stated on your agreement. Berth fees away from home port, provisioning, chef menus and any shore transport are listed as separate lines so you can see and approve each one before signature.
For July and August in the Mediterranean, four to six months is comfortable. Shoulder months often open up three weeks out. Caribbean winter weeks move earliest of all, usually settling by late September.
The captain has final say and will reroute to sheltered water wherever possible. If conditions make sailing unsafe for the whole booking, we move your dates without a change fee or refund the charter in full, whichever you prefer.
Children are welcome on every vessel and we carry correctly sized lifejackets once we know their ages. Pets are allowed on a portion of the fleet; tell us at enquiry and we will only show you boats whose owners permit them.
Half the charter fee secures the dates, with the balance due four weeks before departure. Cancellations more than sixty days out are refunded in full less bank charges; inside that window we will first try to move you to another week.
