These demo terms outline how a charter with us works. Replace them with terms drafted for your own operation and jurisdiction before you launch.
Booking and payment
Half the charter fee secures your dates. The balance falls due four weeks before departure. Payment follows signature of the charter agreement; we do not take a holding deposit before you have seen the vessel.
What the rate includes
The vessel, its crew and fuel for the cruising range stated on your agreement. Berth fees away from the home port, provisioning, chef menus and shore transport are quoted separately and agreed before signature.
Cancellation
Cancellations more than sixty days before departure are refunded in full, less bank charges. Inside sixty days we will first offer to move you to another week; where that is not possible the deposit is retained.
Weather and safety
The captain has final authority on routing and on whether it is safe to sail. Where conditions make the whole booking unsafe, we will move your dates without a change fee or refund the charter in full, whichever you prefer.
Aboard
Guest numbers may not exceed the capacity stated on the agreement. Children are welcome on every vessel; pets are permitted only on those whose owners allow them, agreed at the time of booking.
Gratuity
Crew gratuity is at your discretion. Ten to fifteen per cent of the charter fee is the Mediterranean convention, settled at the end of the charter.
