How Booking Works
Most travellers go from first message to a confirmed departure inside a week. Nothing is charged while the itinerary is still moving.
Pick A Departure
Browse open dates or describe the trip you have in mind. Tell us the pace you want and the things you would rather skip.
Talk To Your Planner
A named planner drafts the route, prices it line by line and reworks it with you until the shape and the number both sit right.
Confirm And Pack
Approve the itinerary and we lock the rooms, guides and transfers, then send a single document with every reference you will need.

Plan With Someone Who Has Been There
Send us a rough shape — a fortnight in October, two people, no early starts — and a planner replies with a route, a price and the parts they would change. Nothing is charged until you say yes.
You send dates and a budget range. Within two working days a planner returns a written itinerary naming every lodge, guide and transfer, along with the total. Adjust it as often as you like before it is confirmed.
Departures can be shifted to another date in the same season at no charge up to forty-five days out. Inside that window we release what we can and refund whatever the lodges return to us, itemised in writing.
Any catalogue route can run privately for six travellers or more, on dates you choose. Family departures swap in shorter walking days and rooms that connect, without dropping the guiding.

Questions We Answer Most Weeks
If your question is not here, a planner will answer it directly — usually the same working day.
Ask A PlannerNothing is charged while the itinerary is still moving. A deposit is taken only once you approve the written plan, with the balance due six weeks before departure.
We hold everything from the moment you land — rooms, guides, transfers and entry fees. Long-haul flights stay in your name so you keep the airline relationship and any miles.
Yes. Roughly a third of travellers on group departures book alone, and we do not charge a single supplement on shoulder-season dates.
Every route carries at least one spare day. Your planner reworks the running order on the ground and confirms the change with you before anything moves.
It is not, and it is required. We send a checklist of what your policy must cover for the route you have chosen once the booking is confirmed.
