Talent that shapes what comes next

We manage comedians, athletes, broadcasters, creators and actors. One team handles the deals, the press and the long-term plan, so the person in front of the camera can focus on the work.

About the agency

Built for the long career, not the next post

SWP began as a two-person office above a comedy club in Soho. Ten years on, we represent more than 180 people across three cities, but the model has not changed: a small team per client, direct access to a senior manager, and no deal signed that we would not sign ourselves.

We handle commercial partnerships, broadcast and streaming bookings, publishing, live touring and press. Where it is useful, we build ventures alongside clients, from podcast networks to product lines.

The first ninety days

Positioning

We write a one-page brief that every manager, publicist and agent on your team works from. You approve every word.

Questions

Before you get in touch

The questions we are asked most. Anything else, send a note and a partner will answer.

How quickly will a brand hear back on a booking request?

Within two working days for availability and rates. If your date is inside a week, phone the London office and we will answer the same day.

What does representation cost?

We work on commission only. There are no sign-up fees, retainers or charges for portfolio work. Commission rates are set out in the agreement before you sign anything.

Is representation exclusive?

Yes for the divisions we manage. If you have an existing acting or literary agent, we work alongside them and agree the split in writing at the start.

What do you look for in new talent?

A point of view you own rather than a format you copy; momentum in audience, bookings or credits; regular output over the last twelve months; and ambition beyond the feed, whether that is broadcast, publishing, live or product.

Do you take on new talent without a large following?

Yes. About a third of the roster joined with under 50,000 followers. We look at the direction of travel and the quality of the work more than the number.

Can I request one specific client rather than a shortlist?

Of course. Name them in the form and we will come back with availability, rates and any exclusivity that applies.

Which office should I contact?

Any of them. Requests are routed to the manager who looks after the client, wherever they sit. Time zones are covered between London and Los Angeles.
