Wide-angle lenses flatter every room ever listed. Here is what to read instead — and why floor area tells you more than any picture.
A wide-angle lens makes a twenty-two square metre room look like a thirty. That is why every room in the collection publishes its true floor area, its bed layout and an unedited photograph taken at eye height. Read the numbers first and the picture second: floor area tells you whether a suitcase can lie open, bed layout tells you whether two people can pass each other at night, and the window aspect tells you what time the light arrives.
