It began with a question a guest asked at a rain-soaked reception desk at two in the morning: why was the room cheaper on the screen than at the counter? Nine years on we hold keys to forty-one independent houses across six regions, and every one of them publishes a single honest nightly figure.
A desk, not a marketplace
We are not a listings site. Every house in the collection is visited, slept in and written up before it takes a single reservation, and the reservations line is answered by named staff in each region rather than by a queue somewhere else entirely.
What we hold ourselves to
- One nightly figure, with tax, service and cleaning already inside it.
- The room you picked is the room you unlock — no substitutions on arrival.
- Standard rates release free of charge until forty-eight hours before check-in.
- A named person answers the telephone from seven in the morning until midnight.
The collection grows slowly and deliberately. A family lodge with nine rooms sits beside a city townhouse on the same page, competing on comfort and care rather than on advertising budget.
