We bottle only what the hives can spare
We work with beekeepers we know by name, and we bottle only what the hives can spare.
Raw & unheated
Cold-strained, never pasteurised, so natural enzymes and pollen stay in the jar.
Single source
Each jar is traced to one apiary and one season. The label tells you where.
Nothing added
No syrups, no blends with imported honey, no flavourings. Just honey.
Bees come first
Hives keep enough honey to winter well. Five percent of sales fund pollinator gardens.
How every jar is made
Four careful steps, and nothing in between. This is how every jar of SWPHoneyShop honey is made.
-
1
Bees forage
Hives sit beside wildflower meadows, orchards and forests, far from sprayed crops.
-
2
Hand harvest
Beekeepers take only fully capped frames, leaving plenty for the colony.
-
3
Cold extraction
Honey is spun out and gently strained, never heated or ultra-filtered.
-
4
Jarred & traced
Each jar is filled by hand and labelled with its apiary and harvest date.
Every bloom pours a different gold
Honey takes its colour and flavour from the flowers bees visit. Pale honeys are delicate and sweet; darker ones are bold, malty and rich in minerals.
- Acacia Water-clear, vanilla-soft, slow to crystallise
- Spring Clover Buttery and gentle, the classic tea honey
- Wildflower Bright, fruity, changes with every harvest
- Dark Forest Woody, toffee notes, lovely on cheese
- Buckwheat Deep molasses flavour, high in antioxidants
