About Us

A small, certified crew flying out of Springfield, Illinois.

Drone Services is a small, certified aerial crew working out of Springfield, Illinois. We fly listings, build records, roof and facade inspections, stitched site maps and thermal passes — and we hand back finished files, not a hard drive of clips to sort through yourself.

How we got here

It started in a garage on Maplewood Lane with one folding quadcopter and a roofing contractor who was tired of climbing. Ten seasons later we are still a small crew, we still answer our own phone, and we still walk every site before the props spin.

What every booking includes

  • A Part 107 certified pilot on the controller, every time.
  • Public liability cover, with the certificate sent ahead of the day.
  • Airspace checked and any authorisation filed before we travel.
  • Colour-corrected stills and cut clips back inside three working days.

Who We Are

We Reach What
Ladders Cannot

Drone Services began in a garage on Maplewood Lane with one folding quadcopter and a roofing contractor who was tired of climbing. Ten seasons on, we are still a small crew, and we still answer our own phone.

Every job starts the same way: you tell us the address and what you need to see. We check the airspace, book a window that suits the light, and fly it. You get finished files, not a hard drive full of clips to sort through yourself.

How It Works

From Your Call
To Your Files

Four steps, in this order, every single booking. Nothing here is a surprise on the day.

01

Send us the address

Drop us the location and a line about what you need to see. Photographs of the site from the ground help more than you would think.

02

We clear the airspace

We check the class of airspace over your site, file for authorisation where it is required, and tell you straight away if a spot is restricted.

03

Flight day

The pilot walks the site, sets a launch point and briefs anyone working nearby. Most jobs are wheels-up and packed away inside two hours.

04

Edited files, sent over

Colour-corrected stills and cut clips arrive by download link, sized for whatever you plan to do with them. Raw footage on request.

Flying Legally

The Paperwork Is
Part Of The Job

Ask any operator for these four things before you book them. We keep ours to hand and will send copies over with the quote.

Certified pilots

Every person who touches the controller on your site holds a current remote pilot certificate under Part 107.

Insured on every booking

Public liability cover runs on all commercial flights. Your site office can have the certificate before we arrive.

Airspace authorisation

Controlled airspace requests are filed before the day, not on the tailgate. If a window is refused, you hear it from us first.

Checklists and briefings

A written pre-flight check on every launch, plus a short verbal brief to anyone working within the flight area.

Client Words

What People Say Once
The Files Land

“They flew a listing that had sat quiet for two months. The lot finally made sense to buyers once they could see the tree line, and we had three viewings that week.”
