About the chambers

About

Twenty years of careful preparation and determined courtroom advocacy.

About Eleanor

Prepared for the question the other side hopes nobody asks.

Most cases are won long before the hearing. I read every page of the file myself, test every assumption in the evidence, and build an argument that holds up under pressure from the bench and from opposing counsel.

You will always know where your case stands. I explain the options, the risks and the likely outcomes in clear terms, so the decisions you make are informed ones. When a fair settlement is the smarter path, I will tell you. When it is time to fight, I will be ready.

Career

A practice built one courtroom at a time

Twenty years of hearings, appeals and negotiated settlements have shaped how I work: carefully, candidly and always on your side.

  1. Called to the Bar

Began practice in criminal defense, appearing daily in district and county courts.

  2. First appellate success

Overturned a wrongful conviction on appeal, a case later cited in state trial training.

  3. Accredited as a mediator

Added civil and family mediation to help clients resolve disputes without trial.

  4. Founded SWP Barrister Chambers

Opened independent chambers in Springfield with a small, dedicated support team.

  5. Trial advocacy faculty

Invited to teach advocacy skills to newly qualified barristers across the state.
