Your artist does the first half of the work. The next 30 days are yours. Follow these steps and your tattoo will heal clean and bright.
Days 1 to 3: keep it clean
Remove the wrap after a few hours, wash gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap, and pat dry. Apply a thin layer of balm. Some redness and weeping plasma is normal.
Days 4 to 14: hands off
- Expect flaking and itching. Do not pick or scratch.
- Keep moisturising lightly twice a day.
- Stay out of pools, baths, saunas and the sun.
Days 15 to 30: protect it
The skin may look shiny or cloudy while it settles. Once fully closed, use sunscreen every time it sees daylight. Our printable aftercare guide has the full routine, and your free touch-up is included within 90 days. Contact the studio if anything looks wrong.
