A higher MERV filter in a slot that leaks around the edges achieves very little, and a filter that is too restrictive for the fan quietly costs you capacity. We rebuild the slot so it seals, then choose the highest MERV your system can actually pull through.
Humidity and testing
Winter dryness and summer clamminess both come down to humidity control, so we size a whole-home humidifier or dehumidifier against your load rather than your square footage. Readings before and after go on the report, so next year you have something to compare against.
