About our home

Hosted by People,
Not a Front Desk

We opened our spare room to travellers in 2014. Today every guest is still greeted at the gate by one of us. We will point you to the best coffee on Maplewood Lane, lend you a bicycle for the lakeside trail and help plan your days.

Rooms are cleaned daily, sheets are line-dried, and the kitchen is yours whenever you feel like cooking.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. Let us know your arrival time and we will do our best to arrange early check-in or late check-out at no charge.

Is breakfast included in the room rate?

Yes. Breakfast is served on the garden terrace from 7:30 to 10:00 am every day. Tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when you book.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. Later cancellations are charged for the first night only.

Do you have parking?

Yes, free private parking is available inside our gated grounds for every room.

Are children and pets welcome?

Children of all ages are welcome, and we can provide a cot and high chair. Small, well-behaved dogs are allowed in the Garden Double Room with a $15 per night cleaning fee.

Can you arrange airport pickup?

Yes. Pickup from Springfield Airport costs $25 each way. Add your flight details in the booking form.
