Send the address and two or three photos of the space. We reply within one working day with what is possible there and roughly what it costs — before anyone books a visit.
Design work usually begins within a fortnight of your site visit. Build and planting dates depend on the season, so we hold slots open through spring and autumn. If the ground is frozen or waterlogged we will say so rather than plant into conditions that will set the garden back a year.
We supply everything and pass on our nursery rate. You get an itemised schedule listing every species, pot size and quantity, so you can see exactly what is going in the ground and what each part of the border costs.
Anything we supply and plant is covered for a full growing year. If it fails to establish and it was not down to a summer with no watering, we lift it and replace it on the next scheduled visit at no charge.
Yes. A good share of our weekly round is in gardens somebody else designed. We start with a condition walk-round and hand you a written month-by-month schedule so you know what happens and when before you commit to anything.
Often. Tight spaces need sharper plant choices and better drainage detailing, not less thought. We survey and quote a twenty-foot courtyard the same way we would quote an acre.
