Book A Site Visit
  1. 01

    Site Walk & Soil Test

We walk the plot with you, mark where the sun lands morning and evening, take samples from three points and listen to how you want to use the space.

  2. 02

    Plan & Planting List

You receive a scale drawing, a full plant schedule with pot sizes and quantities, and a written price. Nothing is dug until you have signed it off.

  3. 03

    Build & Planting Week

Hard landscaping goes in first, then beds are dug over and improved, then everything is set out on the surface for your eye before it goes in the ground.

  4. 04

    Aftercare Season

Twelve months of scheduled visits are included, with a written watering guide and a replacement promise on anything that fails to establish.

Why Choose Us

What Makes Our
Work Different

Plants Chosen For Your Soil

We test pH and drainage before we specify anything, so nothing goes in that will sulk for three years and then quietly die.

One Crew, Start To Finish

The gardener who drew your plan is on site the day it is planted, and back again for the first spring cut-back the following year.

Honest Written Quotes

Line-by-line pricing for labour, plants and materials, agreed in writing. No day-rate surprises once the beds are already open.

Green Waste Taken Away

Prunings, turf and spoil leave with us and go to a licensed composting site, not into a corner behind your garage.

Growing For The Long Term

We plant for what the garden becomes in year five, not for what photographs well the week we finish. That means smaller stock, wider spacing and a bit of patience for a border that fills in properly and stays healthy.

Questions

Things People Ask
Before They Book

Design work usually begins within a fortnight of your site visit. Build and planting dates depend on the season, so we hold slots open through spring and autumn. If the ground is frozen or waterlogged we will say so rather than plant into conditions that will set the garden back a year.

We supply everything and pass on our nursery rate. You get an itemised schedule listing every species, pot size and quantity, so you can see exactly what is going in the ground and what each part of the border costs.

Anything we supply and plant is covered for a full growing year. If it fails to establish and it was not down to a summer with no watering, we lift it and replace it on the next scheduled visit at no charge.

Yes. A good share of our weekly round is in gardens somebody else designed. We start with a condition walk-round and hand you a written month-by-month schedule so you know what happens and when before you commit to anything.

Often. Tight spaces need sharper plant choices and better drainage detailing, not less thought. We survey and quote a twenty-foot courtyard the same way we would quote an acre.
