Five Easy Recipes for Fresh Farm Yogurt

Our cultured yogurt is set slowly with live cultures, so it is thick enough to stand a spoon in. That makes it one of the most useful things in your fridge. Here are five of my favourite ways to use a jar.

1. Honey and oat breakfast bowl

Top a big spoonful with toasted oats, a drizzle of honey and whatever fruit is in season.

2. Garlic and herb dip

Stir in grated garlic, chopped dill, lemon zest and a pinch of salt. Perfect with warm bread or crunchy vegetables.

3. Tenderising marinade

Yogurt with paprika, cumin and lemon tenderises chicken beautifully overnight.

4 and 5. Smoothies and baking

  • Blend with frozen berries and a splash of our whole milk.
  • Swap it for half the butter in muffins for a lighter, moister crumb.

Keep the jar sealed and cold, and always use a clean spoon — it will stay fresh for up to two weeks.
