SWPcrowdfunding was founded by Daniel Brooks, former nonprofit director and payments advisor. Together with a team of fundraising and community specialists, he has helped creators, families and local causes raise money in more than 40 countries for over a decade.

How much does it cost to start a campaign?

Creating a campaign is free. We charge a 3% platform fee on funds raised, plus standard payment processing of 2.9% + $0.30 per pledge. Nothing else.

What happens if I don't reach my goal?

You choose when you launch. With flexible funding you keep everything you raise. With all-or-nothing, backers are only charged if your goal is met.

How quickly can I withdraw funds?

Once your identity and bank details are verified, withdrawals usually arrive in 2 to 5 business days.

Is my pledge safe?

Yes. Payments are encrypted and handled by PCI-compliant processors, and every campaign is reviewed before it goes live. Our backer guarantee covers campaigns that turn out to be fraudulent.

Can I raise money for someone else?

Absolutely. Add the beneficiary during setup and funds can be sent straight to their account, so you never have to handle the money yourself.
