Engine Bay Repair

A car AC that blows warm air is one of the most common summer complaints we hear. The good news: most causes are straightforward to find and fix once you know where to look.

The six usual suspects

  • Low refrigerant — almost always caused by a slow leak
  • A failing compressor or clutch — often noisy when the AC is on
  • A blocked condenser — debris in front of the radiator stops heat escaping
  • Cooling fan faults — the AC works on the highway but not in traffic
  • Electrical problems — blown fuses, relays or pressure switches
  • Blend door actuators — cold air is made but sent to the wrong place

Why topping up is not a fix

Adding refrigerant without finding the leak means paying for the same recharge again next summer. We add UV dye, find the leak and repair it first.

Our AC and heating repair service covers leak testing, recharge and component repair. Book an AC check before the next heatwave.
