Follow these steps and your tattoo will heal clean and bright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Days 1 to 3: keep it clean<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remove the wrap after a few hours, wash gently with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap, and pat dry. Apply a thin layer of balm. Some redness and weeping plasma is normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Days 4 to 14: hands off<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Expect flaking and itching. Do not pick or scratch.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Keep moisturising lightly twice a day.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Stay out of pools, baths, saunas and the sun.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Days 15 to 30: protect it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The skin may look shiny or cloudy while it settles. Once fully closed, use sunscreen every time it sees daylight.
