Respite is cover for them, and it is the service families feel most guilty about asking for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We schedule planned respite from four hours up to several weeks, including overnight sits and full live-in cover. Where we have capacity we take emergency respite inside the same week \u2014 call the care line with the dates and you will get a straight answer immediately, not a callback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The caregiver is briefed from the existing care plan, so the person being cared for keeps their routine even while the usual person is away.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cover for the person who has been doing all of it.
