One was struck by lightning. The other three recorded a canopy that no longer behaves like a single forest, because it is no longer a single forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What the rigs caught is adaptation in progress: hornbills crossing cleared ground their parents would never have risked, and gibbons using routes that did not exist a decade ago. Some of it is remarkable. None of it is good news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This episode was cut almost entirely from footage nobody was present to film.
