It is a document that arrived incomplete, undated, or in a format the lender cannot accept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The usual six<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>The missing page of a tax return.<\/strong> Lenders need every page, including the ones that say nothing.<\/li><li><strong>An undated gift letter.<\/strong> It must name the giver, state the funds are not repayable, and be dated before the transfer.<\/li><li><strong>A screenshot instead of a statement.<\/strong> It needs the account holder&#8217;s name, the account number and the period, all visible.<\/li><li><strong>A large unexplained deposit.<\/strong> Anything unusual needs a paper trail; sourcing it after the fact is far slower.<\/li><li><strong>An expired identification document.<\/strong> Check the date before you send it, not after.<\/li><li><strong>A payslip that predates the application by more than a month.<\/strong> Freshness rules are strict and rarely flexible.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">None of these are difficult.
