If a garage roof, an artex ceiling or old pipe lagging is even possibly asbestos, it needs a licensed removal contractor and a separate consignment note. Do not break it, do not bag it, and do not let anyone tell you it is fine.<\/p>\n<p>Solvents, unsealed paint, fuel and pool chemicals go to a household hazardous waste facility. Gas cylinders go back to the supplier, who usually takes them without charge. Medical sharps go to a pharmacy or a council collection point. Car tyres and batteries go to a garage or a tyre depot.<\/p>\n<p>Everything else \u2014 furniture, appliances, timber, metal, rubble, garden waste, electricals, general household clutter \u2014 we take.
