It is not a serial number and it is not decoration \u2014 it is the thread back to how that particular vial came to exist.<\/p>\n<h2>The three parts<\/h2>\n<p>The first block identifies the source material and the run it was potentised in. The middle block is the bench date. The last is the dispenser: an actual person, whose initials those are, who can be asked about it.<\/p>\n<h2>Why we bother<\/h2>\n<p>Because provenance is the whole argument for buying from a dispensary rather than a warehouse. If you cannot trace a remedy back to a bench and a date, you are taking someone&#8217;s word for it. With a code you are not.<\/p>\n<h2>Checking one<\/h2>\n<p>Read the code down the phone or paste it into an email and we will tell you the source material, the date and who made it up.
