Cupping uses silicone or glass cups to create gentle suction over tight muscle, lifting the tissue and drawing stagnant blood to the surface. Gua sha uses a smooth-edged tool to scrape along the same areas. Both are often added to the end of an acupuncture session.<\/p>\n
